Live wedding painting is an experience where I create an original painting during your wedding celebration. Guests can watch the artwork develop throughout the day, stop by to see the progress, ask questions, and experience part of the creative process themselves. After the wedding, I bring the painting back to my studio for any final details and finishing touches before it comes home to you.
-
Before your wedding, we’ll have a Painting Planning Session to talk through your ideas and the overall direction for the artwork. On the wedding day, I’ll arrive with everything I need, set up, and continue bringing your painting to life while you and your guests watch it develop throughout the celebration. Afterwards, I’ll complete any necessary finishing work in my studio before arranging delivery. You can explore the full painting process here.

This depends on your wedding timeline and the package you choose. I may begin during cocktail hour, at the start of the reception, or earlier in the day for longer packages. As we get closer to your wedding, I’ll coordinate the timing and logistics with you or directly with your wedding planner if you have one.
-
You’ll see the painting come together throughout the celebration, with how far it develops depending on your package and painting time. Afterwards, I’ll bring it back to my studio for any final details and finishing touches. I don’t want to rush the artwork simply because the wedding is ending. The goal is to give you a finished piece that I’m proud of and that you’ll want to live with for years.
-
Yes. Travel within the distance included in your package is complimentary. Weddings farther away can absolutely be arranged with additional travel costs. For destination weddings or venues more than two hours from Ottawa, please book a consultation before reserving your date so we can talk through the travel details and make sure everything works for your wedding.
-
Absolutely. The packages are starting points. If you have a particular size, idea, or something more custom in mind, book a consultation and we can talk through what you’re envisioning together.

Click Book the Date under the package you’re interested in to see my current calendar and check whether your wedding date is available. You can view the calendar before making your booking.
-
Choose your package and click Book the Date. Your date is officially reserved once your booking deposit has been paid. Because I can only be at one wedding at a time, your date is reserved exclusively for you once booked.
-
A booking deposit is required to reserve your wedding date and is applied toward the total cost of your package. You can choose to pay the remaining balance in full and receive the applicable full-payment discount. Otherwise, the remaining balance is due no later than three months before your wedding. Once your deposit is received, your wedding date is reserved exclusively for you.
-
After the wedding, I’ll bring the painting back to my studio for any final work and finishing touches. Your painting will typically be ready for delivery within 1–2 weeks after your wedding. If anything requires additional time, I’ll let you know.
-
I use professional artist-quality materials throughout the painting and finish the completed artwork with an appropriate protective varnish. Each piece is created with longevity in mind. It’s made to be lived with and enjoyed for years, and eventually passed down through generations along with the story behind it.

You can still have an original wedding painting created from one of your photographs. My Wedding Painting Commission packages are specifically designed for couples who want to turn a favourite image from their wedding into an original piece of art.
