FROM THE ARTIST ON THE WORK

Wandering Places is a series of over 60 abstract paintings that explore my childhood memories from Kazakhstan and Canada. These works are built through layers of collage, paint, and intuition. Trying to summon the joy, curiosity, and beauty that lived alongside more difficult experiences. I’m not recreating specific places; I’m reaching for the emotional atmosphere of what once was, and asking what still lives in me now.
